Der in Ostfriesland geborene Gitarrist Carl Carlton ist eine transatlantische Schlüsselfigur des Rock. In den USA spielte er für Willy DeVille und Robert Palmer. In Deutschland kennt man ihn als Musiker und Produzenten von Künstlern wie Udo Lindenberg, Peter Maffay und Marius Müller-Westernhagen.
Carl Carlton ist wahrlich ein Gitarren-Gott. Er spielte mit Robert Palmer, Joe Cocker, Paul Young und Bob Geldof. Am Freitag ist der Musiker mit seinem Soloprogramm „Songs & Stories“ im Erfurter Dasdie Brettl. Die Fans können sich auf wilde Anekdoten aus seinem Rockerleben und ruppige Riffs freuen.
