Loudermilk was one of the most diverse and prolific tunesmiths of the 20th century. The author of such iconic hits as “Tobacco Road,” “Indian Reservation,” “Then You Can Tell Me Goodbye” and “Abilene,” was the subject of a stellar tribute concert in March 2016 at the Franklin Theatre south of Nashville.

Das 115-jährige Bestehen des Waldhotels „Tannenhäuschen“ wurde am Wochenende gebührend gefeiert. Den Auftakt machte Gregor Meyle (siehe rechts), das Sommerfest startete Samstag. Live mit dabei die Rockschule Hamminkeln mit einem ihrer bekannten Sofa-Konzerte. Auch die Weseler Band „Meine Zeit“ gab ihre Visitenkarte ab. Mit im Gepäck hatten sie ihre neue Single „Feuer und Meer“. Später wurde die Bühne frei für Sarah Straub und Carl Carlton.
