Woodstock musician Amy Helm is working on a new album. The Grammy winner has posted news of her latest endeavor on Facebook. Details have yet to be released, but the daughter of the late Levon Helm has revealed where she is recording the album – Levon Helm Studios; and who is performing on the project – musicians Tony Mason, Josh D. Kaufman and Phil Cook.

Wobei Woodstock da eher metaphorisch für die goldenen Jahre des Rock steht, auch wenn der Ostfriese im New Yorker Künstlerdorf eine Zweitwohnung hat. Er ist da wegen Levon Helm hin, der Schlagzeuger bei The Band war und der da wiederum wegen Bob Dylan hingezogen war, für den die Band arbeitete.
